Winter & Sons is a locally owned family construction company serving the Pacific Northwest for the last sixty years. We work, live and have raised our families in this community. The Northwest is our home. It is important to us, and to our reputation in the community, that what we build speaks of our commitment to quality old world craftsmanship.
We are a local builder. Whether you are considering building your dream home, remodeling your existing home, adding a deck, building a fence, or fixing a leaky roof we can meet your construction needs. We are not mass manufacturing builders. We are custom home builders that work with the customer to meet their needs.
We have our own custom wood shop for milling and manufacturing custom doors, trims, flooring and cabinetry. Although the wood shop is located in Gig Harbor, Washington, we work in Pierce, King, Thurston and Kitsap counties.

With over sixty years of experience working in our custom wood shop we have the ability to produce a higher quality product. It is not just a job for us, it is our reputation. We do not just build. We produce old world craftsmanship which we take pride in.
Listening to our customers and really hearing what their vision is for the project is what sets us apart. It does not matter what we want to build, but what does the customer want built? It is our ability to catch that vision that has made our customers, repeat customers. When it is time for our former customers to remodel, update, or build a new, Winter & Sons is who they call…again.
We take care not only in the product we produce but in the needs of our customers. We work to accommodate the scheduling needs of the customer. If we are remodeling, we take extra care to protect the existing home. In new home construction, we run a clean job site. These little details matter and our customers notice that we care. It is about customer satisfaction.
